Job Description:

Our client is an international investment bank with extensive presence in Asia. They are currently looking for a Client Onboarding Manager to join their team.

Based in Hong Kong, you will be responsible for the end-to-end onboarding process of hedge fund clients, communicating directly with the client to collect necessary information and documents for internal teams. You will build relationships with key decision makers of the client, proactively manage the onboarding relationship, closely monitor the progress of account openings and account setups, and represent the client’s interests to internal counterparts including KYC Controls, Credit Risk, Compliance, Operations and Legal. You will also coordinate with Sales to prioritise account requests and provide progress updates to Sales and other internal groups, and you’ll constantly review and implement enhancements to team processes and procedures to meet regulatory changes and industry best practices.

To qualify, you will have 7 years of experience in the banking industry, preferably from a Prime Brokerage background. You should have strong time management and multitasking skills, and have an outgoing personality to confidently deal with internal and external clients. Ideally you have a degree in Finance or Economics, and your knowledge of industry regulations such as Dodd Frank, EMIR and FATCA will be highly regarded. You must be fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
