Our client is a leading international Private Bank with a strong presence in Asia Pacific region. They are currently looking for a Senior IT Specialist to join their team in Hong Kong.
Your main responsibility will be organizing IT onsite Operations work for HK office including coordinating internal assessments on HKMA/SFC regulatory topics and keeping track of HK regulatory changes. You will be handling daily events and incidents to meet with service level and collaborating with both regional and global team on IT internal processes and delivery. You will also supervise on delivering IT support services and execution of new deployment. You will be monitoring the IT operational work including but not limited to Server & Hub Rooms, Network devices, Storage, backup and data replication system support, End-user computing and 3rd Party systems and Market data systems like Bloomberg and MarketMap.
To be considered, you should have a degree in IT or related fields with at least 10-15 experience with technology roles ideally in banks and/or wealth management. You should have strong understanding of HKMA/SFC IT and outsourcing regulations; Project Management skills with general IT controls; proficient in Microsoft Desktop environment and MS Server 2008 and Active Directory. Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese are a must.
